“I have a passion for startups,” notes Clark, who has supported everything from mom-and-pop businesses to multi-million-dollar corporations. Lead instructor Rachel Clark is the program developer. Sponsors include the Community Foundation of Mendocino County, Savings Bank of Mendocino County, Adventist Health, LPL Financial, Tri Counties Bank, Economic Development and Financing Corporation, The Madrones, Café Beaujolais, North Coast Brewing Company, Patterson and Yates Realtors, Veikko Properties, LLC, the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development and America’s SBDC Northern California Network. Participants completed 23 weeks of business training. This round of StartUp Mendocino kicked off in January 2022. The public is invited to meet the graduates, learn about their businesses and celebrate their success. Their program- the StartUp Mendocino Business Accelerator Program is recognizing their latest group of graduates at a reception on June 9th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Rivino Winery.
The West Business Development Center (WBDC) has been training enterprising individuals displaying the commitment and passion to grow their own start-up businesses in Mendocino County.
